Clara im Museum

Design of the Natural History Museum’s (Zurich) mascot “Clara - the magpie” (2024)

Clara is the perfect link between dinosaurs and modern birds. As a magpie, she embodies a resemblance to the Archaeopteryx in silhouette and is one of the bird species living in Switzerland.

Clara guides the younger visitors through the new museum exhibit, which focuses on paleontological fossils. She leads them through various stations in the museum and also accompanies them in the form of a children's book story.
